Day moments from Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Capilano Suspension Bridge

Few posts back I shared my experience exploring Canyon Lights in Capilano Suspension Bridge Park during the evening, but today I’m here to share a few pictures what the place looked like in the day time!

And readers go wild!

You might remember (or will find out) from my previous post, together with my husband we purchased annual passes instead of a daily pass, as the price was exactly same for people residing in British Columbia. So of course we had to take an advantage of the rainier day and less crowded park! This time our bus didn’t betray us either and we didn’t have to book an Uber to make our way there on time.

You may call that a success as well.

Still quite a many people crossing over, but not as many as during the evening

Cliffwalk, which was actually scarier this time that crossing the actual bridge

But was it actually less crowded or was I only dreaming? Yes it was. Less crowded I mean. We could actually walk around quite freely, without worrying about bumping into other people. Mr. Husband actually said that he enjoyed the park more during the day time, as you could actually see the surroundings. Believe it or not, I didn’t mind crossing the bridge this time, although I could actually see where I would fall into. As there wasn’t so many people, the bridge wasn’t so wobbly either.

The most memorable thing was seeing two bald eagles flying around alongside the river. Those gorgeous creatures were too fast and too far away for our camera lenses, but I’ll have that mental picture of that the rest of my life.

Overall, I must say I preferred visiting Capilano Suspension Bridge Park during a rainy day as the park wasn’t as crowded and I LOVE capturing moodier moments. But if you are visiting British Columbia/Vancouver area, I wouldn’t stress too much about when to visit. Surely it’s not fun to queue when there is more people, but when you are surrounded by other people there is also something special on that as well.

Keeping it short this time, but if you’d like to read more about Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, I included more details on my previous post! But on the next post, new locations, new adventures. :)
